Judson is a leader in the financial planning community. He holds a Certified Financial Planner® designation in addition to a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Judson has identified the immense value that someone can get from a financial advisor. Judson is passionate about introducing ease and confidence into his clients’ financial lives, replacing tension or limited knowledge with peace of mind and confidence.
The Chicago Board of Options Exchange sparked Judson’s interest in studying money and what it means to people. In 1990, while still in high school, he interned at the bustling exchange, running tickets as a clerk. After graduating from high school, he went on to earn his BSBA in Finance from the Fischer College of Business at The Ohio State University.
Judson continued to hone his skills while managing securities for Key Trust, then moving to beautiful Colorado to be a market maker on Tucker Anthony Sutro’s trading desk. In the years that followed, Judson worked for many market leaders in finance, including Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and Northwestern Mutual. Those years taught him the value of consistently studying and reading economic history.
All of these skills gained over 25 years help him excel as a financial advisor for his clients. For example, as part of one clients’ wealth management plan, he referred the client to an estate-planning attorney. The estate plan lifted the weight off his clients’ shoulders and enabled her to move forward with a comprehensive financial plan.
