Thanks for the kind words about last week’s Periscope, This 4th of July, Take a Hike. This week, I’d like to give you a few updates, but first I’d like to pose a question and spark a conversation.
What event would you like to attend? What topic would you like us to cover at a future lunch and learn? Would you prefer to attend an event at a different time? Would you like a “peak into our investment committee?” Or something about law and/or taxes? Gardening? No wrong answers.
Please either reply to this email, or complete this very brief survey:
We are here to serve!
An update for anyone who has kids or grandkids you have saved money in a Colorado 529 Plan. The new website for that company requires a completely different login, so give yourselves time, but you’ll likely find, as we did, that it is easier to navigate and looks better too. If you’ve any questions, please contact your Financial Advisor.
On the investments side, we’ve made a change for many of our clients. Albeit a small change, along the range of a two percent position, I want all of you to know the significant work that we’ve put into this decision. We began the research months ago, and we looked at a large number of options. We delegated the work and held each other accountable. If you’ve not seen our Investment Philosophy Statement recently, send a note to your WM and she will be happy to explain to you the reasons and our expectations going forward.
Your Financial Advisor is happy to explain the details of these updates, and any other issue you might have with your own financial plans.
We are living in good times—as much as the news around us is often threatening, and can be depressing, things are largely better (much better) for more of us today than when we were born. At our firm, we believe that trend is unstoppable. That, plus the irreducible importance of your real-life, flexible, and sound financial plan are the keys to health and happiness.
